A COUNCIL is set to splash out a quarter of a million pounds on an Art Deco style toilet block.
New Forest District Council have given to go ahead for the project at Lymington Harbour.
Designs of the new block, which will cost the taxpayer £250,000, are not yet available, but the authority says the conveniences will fit in with the look of the nearby lifeboat station which is also Art Deco in design.
The toilets at the Bath Road car park will replace a run down block already on the site and include two showers as well as eight unisex toilet cubicles.
