Main road shut after cow escapes
A MAJOR road had to be shut after a cow escaped onto the carriageway.
Police closed the A35 between Ashurst and Lyndhurst while they tried to contain the animal.
Officers advised motorists to avoid the road, which is one of the main routes across the New Forest.
The cow has now been moved into a field and the A35 has now been re-opened. #Ashurst #Lyndhurst
