A337 in New Forest blocked after serious incident
A ROAD near Brockenhurst was blocked this morning after a crash between a car and a horse.
The A337 Lyndhurst Road near the B3055 Balmer Lawn Road was blocked and later closed for nearly two hours following the incident which occurred at around 6.30am.
The woman driving the car was uninjured. The horse, which had no rider, was described by emergency services at the scene as "stunned", and was dealt with by the agister.
The road was re-opened by 8.15am.
