AN EX-Royal Marine is looking for new members to join a club which allows him to pass on some of the skills he learnt in the forces.
Terry O’Neill says anyone over the age of 10 can come along to Corfe Military Airsoft Site, where members meet fortnightly to play the sport, which involves using replica firearms to shoot at one-another with BB pellets.
Mr O’Neill said: “If people have kids that sit on their Xbox playing Black Ops, then they should come along and experience it for real.
“We always teach people that they’re shooting for fun, not to kill. It gets them out of the house and away from their computers.
“At the moment we have around 30 people of all ages who play, but we would love to welcome more.”
“We always start with a safety talk and we remind them of the rules which they have to abide by or they’re out, before we play around five or six games with a lunch break in between.”
