BRICKS, a broken gate, traffic cone and branches were just some of the items cleared from a frozen pond in Christchurch.
Council workers visited the pond in Mudeford Wood on Monday after reports of the items strewn across the surface.
A spokesperson for Christchurch council said it is not thought they were left there after people were trying to skate on the ice.
"The water bailiff is aware and will be clearing the area", they added.
The items were spotted by photographer Emma Duguid.
