HOLBY City actor Guy Henry visited the Regent Centre this week to support the cast of Highcliffe Charity Players.

Guy, who plays surgeon Henrik Hanssen in the medical drama, made his stage debut with the Players at the age of 11 playing a footman in Cinderella in the early 1970s.

He is also the president of the group.

His parents Diz and Michael Henry were founder members of the company.

The amateur theatre group has been performing ‘Dick Whittington and his Cat’ at the Christchurch theatre this month.

The last performance will take place on Saturday.

Mr Henry was invited to become the group’s first president after praising the group during an appearance on Celebrity Mastermind in 2013.

As well as his roles in Holby City and Star Wars, he has also appeared in Extras, Rome and Harry Potter, as well as his stage career with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre.

He also visited the cast last year, with his mother, for their panto, Snow White.
