A COFFEE house in Christchurch has got a brand new look after undergoing a £100,000 refurbishment.

Mike Ismail, owner of Baggies in the High Street, was joined by the Mayor and Mayoress of Christchurch, Cllr Fred Neale and Barbara Neale, to cut the ribbon at the opening.

Mr Ismail said the coffee shop and burger bar was ‘looking tired’ before the refurb and he was pleased with the modernised Baggies.

“Christchurch High Street needs a facelift and it will benefit from good-looking businesses,” he said. “We wanted to create something a bit different and unique as there are around 32 food outlets here.

“We’ve re-done the menu with premium, homemade burgers and people can chill out in a nice ambience here now,” he added.

The project took five weeks to complete, with the interior completely changed and new equipment installed.
