Road closed after pick-up truck overturns
A ROAD in Christchurch was closed after a vehicle overturned this morning.
Police were called at 10.50am to reports of a collision just north of the ski centre on Matchams Lane.
They closed the road south end at Boundary Lane and at the junction with Moors Close. The vehicle was a black Mitsubishi pick-up truck registered to a man from Ringwood.
The fire service also attended the scene.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said there were no injuries as a result of the incident and the local authority are dealing with an oil spill on the road.
The road has now been re-opened.
