AN ELDERLY bus passenger suffered a fit on a main route through Christchurch this morning.
Emergency services were called to Barrack Road, close to its junction with Jumpers Road, at 9.20am after the driver of a Yellow Bus dialled 999 when a female passenger fell ill.
A South Western Ambulance Service spokesman said the woman suffered a fit and was treated at the scene by paramedics, but did not require hospital treatment.
Police also attended the scene to assist the paramedics.
