As the mercury soared bringing a taste of summer these alpacas cooled down on the Parley Court estate with a refreshing dip.
Golfers enjoying the new course and practice centre that has seen a £250,000 investment choose to cool down in the 19th hole – the café-bar.
Cath Dampney, who manages the café-bar, said: “The weather has been perfect for golf and we’ve been very busy because the new course is proving a huge hit.
“The alpacas are very popular and lots of visitors stop to watch them and I’m not surprised they’ve been taking advantage of the pond to cool down in.”
This week is expected to see a spell of warm weather, with temperatures reaching 22C.
