THE Spur Road is set for more overnight closures from tonight for the finishing touches of the rebuild.
From 8pm on Monday to 6am on Tuesday works will be conducted from the Ashley Heath roundabout to Cooper Dean on the northbound carriageway.
Wednesday night, from 8pm-6am, will see a full road closure, and from 8pm-6am Thursday to Saturday, works will be done to the southbound carriageway.
The road will fully reopen at 6am on Saturday, June 25.
A spokesperson for Dorset County Council said: "We've provisionally booked a night closure for Saturday (into Sunday) in case of bad weather or any delays in the work. We'll let you know next week if we need this or not."
Works include digging trial holes around Blackwater to locate the gas main in preparation for future schemes, and the installation of visibility screening at Ashley Heath to slow vehicles approaching the roundabout.
