THE A338 Spur Road has been re-opened following a crash between a car and a motorbike.
A call came into South Western Ambulance Service at 5.23pm with reports of the incident on the northbound site of the busy main road, between Blackwater Junction and the Ashley Heath Roundabout.
Two ambulances assisted the occupants of the car and the rider of the motorbike, with one person complaining of a wrist injury.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said the road closure was put in place between TwinTec and the Ashley Heath Roundabout.
She added that there were a number of broken down vehicles on the Spur Road, which would have also slowed down traffic.
Delays are believed to remain in the area as queues of traffic moves through the area.
