Firefighters were alerted to reports of a building on fire in the Snowdrop Gardens area yesterday.
They arrived to find a shed well alight, which had spread to the adjoining fence and another shed. The crew used one hose reel jet and breathing apparatus to put out the fire.
The suspected cause was refracted sunlight through the shed window.
A spokesman for the fire service: "We would like to take this opportunity to remind members of the public to store items carefully in their sheds and avoid placing reflective items in or close to windows."
