A flight on its way to Barcelona from Newscastle has diverted to Bournemouth this morning.
The EasyJet flight landed at Bournemouth airport just after 11am due to a medical emergency.

A spokesperson from EasyJet said: "EasyJet can confirm that flight EZY6401 from Newcastle to Barcelona diverted to Bournemouth Airport today as a result of a passenger requiring urgent medical assistance.
“The safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew is easyJet’s highest priority. The passenger was met by paramedics and the flight is now continuing onto Barcelona.
“We apologise for any inconvenience experienced due to the diversion and resulting delay.”
A spokesperson from South Western Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 10.56am to reports of one casualty with breathing difficulties.
"The casualty was taken to Royal Bournemouth Hospital for treatment. There is no further information at this time."
