SHOPPERS in Boscombe will be able to enjoy four Saturdays packed with festive fun in the run up to Christmas.
The streets and arcades of Boscombe will host free performances, themed activities and fun games on November 29 and the following three Saturdays.
Parents can take advantage of free “Drop and Shop” art workshops for children aged eight and over and a line-up of performers will entertain shoppers.
The Countdown to Christmas will end with a lantern parade on 3pm at Saturday, December 21.
The Coastal Business Improvement District (BID) and Jack FM have helped fund the events.
Alun Williams of the Coastal Bid said: “Boscombe already offers a great and varied shopping experience which includes popular high street brands, local independent retailers as well as the precinct and vintage markets. This additional Christmas entertainment will provide an extra attraction to create a colourful seasonal display. It’s great to see so many local businesses getting in the festive spirit to support this activity with promotions and offers.”
