TRADERS have moved their stalls out of an indoor market months after the electricity supply was cut off.

Zervo Flexi Village in Boscombe’s Sovereign Centre is now empty. The shutters have been drawn down across the front doors.

The company reportedly owes E.ON around £90,000.

Bailiffs turned off the supply in early February. As reported in the Daily Echo, the business closed again in May and a note marked ‘shop temporarily closed’ was taped to a window.

The note has now been removed and all items inside the property removed.

The owners have not returned calls for comment.

On Tuesday, traders in nearby units said they have been left in the dark about the market.

One, who didn’t want to be named, said: “All I know is that it’s closed.

“We saw traders moving everything out into vans. They’re not happy at all. No one has been told anything.”

Zervo Flexi Village opened in the former TJ Hughes unit in 2015. It covers 45,000 square feet.

The market operates as a concession-style department store which allows traders to rent a space and sell their own goods.

The unit is listed as ‘under offer’ on owner New River Retail’s website.
