A BODY has been found in the search for a missing man from Bournemouth.
Police say the body of missing 84-year-old Albert Alt was found on Wednesday morning at Boscombe beach.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Officers were called to the beach at around 7.50am today to reports that the body of a man had been discovered.
“The body has been identified as that of missing Bournemouth man Albert Alt.
“His family have been informed of the discovery and the coroner has been notified.
“His death is not being treated as suspicious and our thoughts are with Albert's family at this difficult time.”
Mr Alt was last seen by a family member at 6pm on Friday, December 16 at his home in Seafield Road, Tuckton.
