CALLUM PAUL CARTMAIL, aged 23 and of Rosemary Avenue, Stafford, admits being the carrier of paint and corrosive liquid which were in a Scania HGV on the A31 at Ashley Heath and failing to ensure the vehicle carried such instruction in writing as required by regulations. Fined £475, to pay a £47 surcharge, to pay £85 costs. Also admits driving when the vehicle was carrying paint or corrosive liquid subject to regulations when the quantities, namely 2,080.25 litres, exceeded the total threshold for their transport category, and failing to display orange placards.
