POLICE are calling for help to track down a thief who breached the terms of his licence.
John Paul Mountford, 41, was released from prison on Friday, February 23 after serving part of a sentence for theft.
He failed to comply with the terms of his licence following his release and a recall notice was issued on Wednesday, February 28.
Mountford is described as white, around six feet three inches tall and of medium build with short brown receding hair.
Detective Sergeant Paul Auger of Dorset Police said: “We are continuing to make a number of enquiries to locate Mountford, who is known to frequent Bournemouth.
“As part of our investigation, I am releasing an image of him in the hope that someone will know of his whereabouts.
“While we have no information to suggest that he presents a direct risk to the public, I would urge anyone who sees Mountford not to approach him but to immediately contact Dorset Police on 999.”
Anyone with information as to Mountford's whereabouts should contact police on 101, quoting 55180031516.
