POLICE are continuing to hunt for attackers who knifed two men in the back outside a block of flats in Poole.
Officers investigating the incident, which took place in Sterte Close in the early hours of Monday morning, say no arrests have yet been made.
The victims were rushed to hospital after emergency services were called shortly before 2.20am.
A 34-year-old man of no fixed abode suffered life-threatening injuries. He is now believed to be out of danger, but remains in hospital.
A 45-year-old man from Poole suffered serious injuries, and has now left hospital.
Detectives believe the victims had arranged to meet their attackers outside blocks Harbour View and Oyster Bay Apartments. The incident is not being treated as random.
The weapon used in the assaults has not yet been recovered.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said enquiries are ongoing.
Witnesses to the assault, or anyone with information about those responsible, should contact officers urgently via dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting 9:32.
