A DOG reported stolen from Lytchett Matravers more than two months ago has been reunited with her owner.
Kaya, a 10-month-old greyhound and whippet cross, was believed to have been taken from an address in Peatons Lane on Wednesday, March 15.
Police called for anyone with information as to her whereabouts to get in touch.
PC Mark Woolridge, of Purbeck police, said: "Kaya's owner is desperate to have her home."
On Tuesday, April 18, Kaya was found by a woman at Moors Valley Country Park and handed into the care of staff at the RSPCA Ashley Heath Animal Centre.
When Kaya's microchip was scanned, staff at the centre contacted police. Officers then spoke with her owner so he could make arrangements with the centre to bring her home.
