POOLE: Police are investigating after grounds maintenance equipment was stolen from Poole Park. The equipment, belonging to Borough of Poole was used to prepare the cricket pitch in the park for games. According to the council it was stolen sometime over last weekend. 
Unfortunately as a result of the theft Poole Town Cricket Club’s friendly match due to take place on Saturday had to be cancelled. Club secretary Jo Pilley said the theft could really effect the team’s season. Borough of Poole has said it is working with Dorset Police to investigate the theft. Anyone with information about this incident should call Dorset Police on 101.

CHRISTCHURCH: Police are searching for the driver of a white Renault Kangoo van who became abusive to a member of the public in Amsterdam Square at 3.15pm on Sunday, April 2.

CORFE MULLEN: Two mopeds have been stolen from the area this April. The first was taken on the night of Sunday, April 9 from Albert Road. The second was stolen the following day from Highfield Road. Two men were seen in Albert Road at around 4am on Monday night.

POOLE: High-value power tools were stolen from a van parked in Benjamin Road sometime between 8pm and 10pm on March 31.  Thieves forced a lock to break into the van. Items taken include a brushless grinder, a combi drill, two impact drivers, a chop saw with cracked plastic casing, a set of telesteps, a reciprocating saw, two DeWalt tool boxes, a jigsaw, a circular skill saw, a 36V SDS drill and pack, which includes two 18V batteries, and a DeWalt 10.8V set with 2,300mm clamps. 

CHRISTCHURCH: Police are investigating two burglaries in the Highcliffe area recently. The first was in Hurstbourne Avenue. The house had been empty for "quite some time" when the burglary happened between November 2016 and Friday, April 7, 2017, according to police.
They are awaiting details of any items that have been stolen.
The second burglary, which happened in Holme Road, took place on Saturday, April 8. The offender entered the house via a small bathroom skylight. They stole cash and a valuable ring.

FERNDOWN: A Tesco worker had their bike stolen from outside the store in Penny’s Walk, Ferndown. It happened sometime between 5pm and 9pm on Monday, March 3. The bicycle was left locked and secured in the bike rack by the trolleys near the store, but when the member of staff returned to it at the end of her shift the lock had been cut and the bike stolen.  Anyone with information should email ferndowncentralnpt@dorset.pnn.police.uk.

CORFE MULLEN: Power tools and a bicycle were stolen from garages in the area. The first theft happened in Albert Road, between 12am and 6.20pm on Wednesday, April 5. The garage door was forced open, and two power tools were stolen. The second theft was in Hadrian Way. The garage door was forced open overnight on Wednesday and a bicycle was stolen. Anyone who saw anything suspicious at the time of the thefts is asked to call police on 101.
