A man suffered a head injury after he was attacked from behind during an early-morning street robbery.
The incident happened at around 3.30am on Tuesday, February 7, after the victim - a 62-year-old local man - had attended MJ Wines in The Triangle.
As he was walking along an alleyway between Cambridge Road and Norwich Avenue West he was attacked by a man and a woman, who stole cash from him.
The victim was taken to Poole Hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.
The male offender is described as white, around six feet tall and of skinny build. He had short dark hair and was wearing dark clothes. His trousers were described as dirty looking.
The female offender is described as white, around five feet five inches tall with long dark hair. She was wearing dark clothes.
Detective Constable Michelle Lawrence, of Bournemouth CID, said: "I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the robbery or saw a man and a woman acting suspiciously in the area matching the descriptions to please come forward."
