A DRUG dealer arrested four times in just three months has been jailed.

Kelvin Willmott was first taken into custody on Thursday, February 11 after being spotted by officers selling drugs in the back of a Nissan Micra in Durrant Road, Bournemouth.

When officers searched the 30-year-old, they discovered 14 small wraps of crack cocaine and 10 of heroin in his underwear.

On Thursday, April 14, officers arrested Willmott again as he was wanted on a court warrant.

Police searched the defendant once again, finding a total of 64 wraps of heroin and cocaine on him.

While on police bail following his arrest in February, Willmott was again seen by police on Tuesday, May 3 acting suspiciously in a car park in Cotlands Road.

He was searched and four white wraps containing suspected drugs were recovered.

On Friday, May 6, a member of public reported that a suspicious vehicle had been parked in a restricted zone outside Gala Bingo in Holdenhurst Road for around a week.

Officers were told that the vehicle was being used for drug deals, and were shown photographs of the suspect that had been taken by the informant.

When police searched the area they saw Willmott, who matched the photos, and he was searched once again.

On that occasion, Willmott was found to be carrying £1,000.

On Thursday, September 1, Willmott appeared at Bournemouth Crown Court to admit possessing heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply it and being concerned in the supply of both class A drugs.

The following day, he was sentenced to four years in prison at the same court.

PC Stuart Grant, of Bournemouth police, said: "We are proactively targeting those individuals who are dealing drugs and causing a blight on the local community.

"We act on reports and intelligence from the public and I would ask that anyone who has any concerns about drug dealing in Bournemouth to contact police so we can act swiftly and bring these individuals to justice."
