A FATHER-OF-TWO told a teenage girl under the age of 16 that he had dreamed about carrying out a sexual act on her.

Scott Taylor, 41, of Edmondsham, Wimborne, is alleged to have committed four offences of sexual activity against one female victim, who is not related to Taylor, when she was aged 14 and 15.

At Bournemouth Crown Court yesterday Taylor, who denies the charges, took the stand to tell jurors his side of events.

The offences, which are alleged to have happened a number of years ago, are said to have taken place at Taylor’s home address at the time and in a vehicle at a festival when another girl was present.

In relation to the incident at the festival the victim claims Taylor took off her tights and underwear whilst she was asleep and carried out a sexual act on her.

Taylor completely denies any sexual contact with her.

But he told the court that during the night of the festival he had a “weird dream” about the victim.

“I woke up in the morning and told her that I had had a weird dream about her which involved me performing a sexual act on her,” said Taylor.

“She was a little surprised but not overly shocked and we carried on with the day.” The trial is expected to conclude today.
