BURGLARS have targeted the same Poole property twice in less than a week. A police investigation has been launched following the incidents in Marline Road.

The first offence occurred at some point between 10pm on Thursday October 22 and 8am on Friday October 23.

It is believed the same offenders returned to the address overnight on Monday October 26.

A box of wine, chainsaw and two empty metal boxes were stolen from a workshop.

One of the boxes was a camouflage design and the second was dark green with yellow writing.

Detective Sergeant Garry Knight, of Dorset Police’s Priority Crime Team, said: “We are investigating these offences and would urge anyone with information about those responsible to call me.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at the relevant times to come forward.

“All calls will be treated in strict confidence.

“I would like to reassure residents that local safer neighbourhood officers are increasing their patrols in the area.”

No arrests have been made.
