POLICE are appealing for the public’s help after an indecent exposure incident in Dorchester.

Officers from Dorset Police were called at 5.26am this morning, Thursday July 9, to reports that a man had indecently exposed himself to a woman in the Balmoral Crescent area of the town.

The victim, a local woman aged in her 50s, was uninjured.

The offender is said to be aged in his 30s and was wearing a dark blue coat and dark jogging bottoms.

Detective Constable Gerald Marchant, of Weymouth CID, said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw a man matching the description given in the Balmoral Crescent area this morning to get in contact with police urgently.

“All calls will be treated in strict confidence.”

No arrests have been made.
