IMAGES of suspects involved in shoplifting offences around East Dorset have been released as part of a police investigation.

Officers are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward following a spate of offences, releasing CCTV as part of their bid to trace those they believe to be involved.

The first theft happened at around 5.40pm on Tuesday, February 3, when a woman stole bottles of wine from the Co-op store in Smugglers Lane, Colehill.

On Tuesday, February 24 at around 6.05pm, a theft took place at the BP Garage in Ringwood Road, St Leonards.

Bournemouth Echo:

Two men and a woman entered the store and selected various items, including several cans of energy drink, confectionary, ready meals and juices, before walking out of the shop without making an attempt to pay for the products.

Another incident took place at around 2.15pm on Tuesday, March 24 when a man took two bottles of Champagne, biscuits and chocolates from the Co-op in Station Road, West Moors, and left the shop without paying.

On Saturday, April 4 at Lloyds Pharmacy in The Square, Wimborne, a man and a woman entered the store, placed a large quantity of make-up products into a bag and left without paying.

PC Adam Aggas, of Ferndown police, said: “I am now able to release CCTV images of a number of individuals I would like to speak to in connection with these incidents.

“Anyone who may recognise any of the people pictured in these images should contact me, in confidence, on 101.”
