THE night sky was illuminated with the colourful displays of aerobatic teams performing at Bournemouth Night Air.
First to wow the crowds, just before 8.30pm, were the Fireflies Aerobatic Display Team accompanied by Otto Helicopter.
As they soared over Bournemouth, they released fireworks into the sky to the fitting sound of Katy Perry’s Firework.
As dusk turned into night, the Aerosparx aircraft glided across the sky against the backdrop of a glowing red full moon.

As they swooped peacefully through the sky, the Grob 109 motorgliders’ rainbow colours and pyrotechnic performance drew gasps from the thousands of spectators gathered.
As the demonstration drew to a close, it wasn’t long before those watching were treated to the awe-inspiring stunts of the Red Devils, the Army’s parachute regiment freefall team.
From an impressive height of 5,000ft, they dropped from the sky in turn, sparking with light as they descended to the ground.
The Night Air action continues tomorrow at approximately 8.20pm.
