A CYCLIST in his 30s has been rushed to Poole Hospital after a collision with a car in Bournemouth on Thursday evening.
The crash occurred at just after 7.10pm on Braidley Road near its junction with Wychwood Drive. Police closed off part of Braidley Road to deal with the accident.
A Dorset police spokesperson said an ambulance attended the scene and it was not yet known how serious the injuries were. Although the spokesperson added the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
The car involved was registered to a Bournemouth man. The driver was not hurt.
