FIVE of the county’s amazing people are to be honoured in the first ever Dorset Hall of Fame.
The initiative is being put together by Wimborne-based Teachers Building Society and Dorset radio station Heart and the nominations have already been judged and the winner chosen.
A prestigious awards ceremony will be held at the Pavilion Ballroom in Bournemouth tonight hosted by Heart presenters JK and Lucy and Toby Anstis with a special guest appearance from Paralympic gold medallist Helena Lucas.
Alan Gravett, head of sales and marketing at Teachers Building Society, said: “The initiative seeks to reward people from all walks of life who make a difference in our county.”
