IRISH comedian Jason Byrne seems to know the right strings to pull when it comes to tickling an audience.
As a result, his latest tour is called People’s Puppeteer and visits Bournemouth and Poole.
His first stop will be the Pavilion Theatre on Thursday, followed by a night at the Lighthouse Poole on November 9.
Famous for his onstage antics and stunts, Byrne admits that every single performance is going to be different because the comic, who by his own admission is easily bored, constantly feels the need to pull humorous rabbits out of his entertainer’s hat.
Last year his successful Cirque Du Byrne wowed audiences across the south coast and throughout the UK.
Jason said: “It was my first British solo tour ever last year.
“I was really worried that no-one would turn up, but you did turn up, Britain, turned up in your own weird, wonderful, sometimes normal way.”
