PASSENGERS on Wilts and Dorset M1 and M2 bus services now have access to free wi-fi as they travel.
Wilts & Dorset have spent £150,000 adding Wi-Fi equipment to the 36-strong fleet, which runs between Poole, Bournemouth Castlepoint and Southbourne.
“We are confident that the introduction of Wi-Fi to the fleet of 36 buses will prove popular,” said Nikki Honer, Commercial Manager at more. “Whilst motorists have a frustrating journey to work, our customers will be able to choose to either work or surf the net for pleasure on the free Wi-Fi!”
Earlier this year the company introduced an app for buying tickets. It has also re-launched its website and now provides up to the minute travel information and advice through Facebook and Twitter.
