A NURSE says she will never rent out her house in Poole again after her intended good deed led to the property being trashed by bad tenants.

Following their eviction, Jane Fear has been left to clear up the mess at the four-bedroomed property in Poole, including disposing of 20 large drums of oil from the garage.

“The house has been smashed to pieces. It’s a mess and the bailiffs just let them drive off without a forwarding address,” she claimed.

Jane, who lives in Canford Heath, allowed a mother and her two children to move into the £900-a-month house as a favour.

“The house has been up for sale since December and they needed somewhere for three months.

“They had been there for four weeks when they changed the locks. The estate agents were trying to get in to show people around.”

She claimed that the rent was not paid.

“I had let the house to recovering addicts for seven years without any such problem.

“I’ve done everything the legal way,” she said. “I’ve done everything to help everybody but there’s no point.

“They owe over £4,000 rent without taking into account the damage to the house.”

A Dorset Police spokesman said a complaint of criminal damage at the property was being investigated by officers.
