THIEVES have stolen thousands of pounds-worth of wheels from trailers at a North Dorset agricultural firm.

Police have appealed for information about the thefts from CJ Cox Agricultural Engineering in Bagber overnight on Sunday, September 30.

The wheels, size 195/60/R/12, were taken from Ifor Williams trailers and police said it would have taken “some time” to remove them.

“The yard is on the A357 and the trailers are visible from the road,” said PC Vicky Worboys of Sturminster Newton police.

“It would have taken the offenders some time to remove the wheels so it is possible that someone saw something suspicious.

“This is a very disruptive crime which has caused a lot of distress to the owners.”
