TODAY’S the day to find a new job, soak up some free advice or get some training.

The latest Daily Echo Jobsfair takes place at the Premier Inn, Westover Road, Bournemouth, from 10.30am to 6.30pm.

Vacancies from a wide range of employers will be on offer, alongside workshops from Best Training on subjects like CV writing, confidence building and interview skills.

So whether you’re looking for a job, information on a change of career or simply wanting to tune up your job-hunting skills, the Jobsfair is the place to be.

The popular event is being sponsored once again by Bournemouth health insurer Health-on-Line and more than 30 exhibitors are lined up for the day – past events have been a huge success, with recruiters finding the perfect candidates for their vacancies.

The previous event in March this year saw more than 1,500 people attend.

Sponsors Health-on-Line will be among those recruiting and Best Training will be offering workshops in areas such as interview skills and CV writing.

Angela Boyer, Daily Echo Classifieds Manager, said: “This event has been heavily promoted in local press and through Heart Radio and if previous fairs are anything to go by, attendees will be queuing at the door ready for the 10.30am opening.

“This is a great opportunity for employers to meet prospective job seekers face-to-face, chat about their skills and experience, and even arrange interviews.

“For anyone looking for a new job or a change in career, this is a rare chance to meet a selection of local companies in a positive environment to chat about what they have to offer – and what you can offer them.

“Exhibitors will come from all sectors, from healthcare to sales, so you can consider options from a wide variety of sources.

“Whatever your current work position, there is sure to be something to take away from the Jobsfair.”
