A SERIES of creditors meetings were held yesterday into nightclub businesses that were run with help from Richard Carr.

They include the company that formerly managed V, the superclub based in the former St Andrew’s Church in Bournemouth Square.

The Daily Echo understands the details released for Vee Club Trading Limited include an unpaid VAT bill of £34,833.46.

The other firms were 2009 Investments Limited, One London Club Limited, One Club Asset Limited and Avenue Bar Trading Limited. The businesses are all in the name of James Beedham, the owner of Bournemouth’s V Club, a close associate of Mr Carr, who is a consultant to nightclubs.

Liquidator David Meany from Ashtons JWD said creditors had the opportunity to vote on whether to accept his appointment after the shareholders decided the company should be liquidated.

Most people had chosen not to attend but to vote by post, he said. The creditors meetings were held at the Old Town Hall on Christchurch Road in Ringwood.
