A FORMER Dorset teacher who went on to star in a national TV advertising campaign has been jailed for four years for sexually abusing three teenage pupils.
Adam Gutteridge was handed the term this morning at Bournemouth Crown Court.
He had previously pleaded guilty to 10 sex assault charges involving three girls at his former school.
The 38-year-old, of Earlsfield Road, London, was a maths teacher at Highcliffe School near Christchurch before moving to London and starring in a high-profile TV advert.
He worked at the school between September 1, 2002, and August 31, 2007, before his change of career.
Gutteridge also pleaded not guilty to one count of sexual activity with a child, which, at an earlier hearing, prosecutor Kerry Maylin said the crown would take no further action over.
