May we present the full-length trailer for the (first) Hobbit film?

As a lifelong fan of the book (even after spending years trying and failing to get out of the jail in the Spectrum's Hobbit adventure game) I have to say I'm not entirely convinced.

Not about the three films issue - there are certainly natural divides in the book that could well mean that a trilogy doesn't stretch the material too thin - but, well, it's Bilbo.

I love Martin Freeman, He's a brilliant Watson, he was a brilliant Tim - but is he going to be a brilliant Bilbo? Can he convey the importance of Bilbo's second breakfast and genuinely sound like he means it, not like he's playing it for laughs? No doubt we shall see.

(I also have my doubts about Thorin. I can't hear his voice without seeing Lucas North falling off a roof and I think that might be a little distracting.)

Anyway, to sum up: I'm not sure this trailer captures the tone I was hoping for from a Hobbit trilogy. Not dungeons deep and caverns old enough for me.  What do you think?

Also, in a quite nifty piece of interaction, the film's official site lets you create your own version of the trailer ending with your favourite character.
