Two people have been taken to hospital after the car they were travelling in collided with a telegraph pole in Studland.
The road was closed near the Knoll House Hotel around 1pm today following the single-vehicle collision.
Services on the Sandbanks to Shell Bay ferry were suspended this afternoon but are running again during this evening's rush-hour. Services will be suspended again later tonight.
The driver was unhurt but two passengers were taken to Poole Hospital.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said they did not believe the injuries were serious.
Engineers were called to fix the telegraph pole.
