POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a fatal three-vehicle collision in Wareham.
A 74-year-old woman died following the collision on the A352 at Worgret Hill, in Wareham, on Thursday, June 28.
She was a passenger in a blue Nissan X-Trail being driven by a 74-year-old Cornwall man when the incident happened at 12.30pm.
It involved a silver Vauxhall Astra and a white heavy goods vehicle.
Initially it was thought no one sustained serious injuries, but the woman died after returning home to Cornwall and being admitted to the Royal Cornwall Hospital.
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 or the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
