AFC Bournemouth defender Steve Cook will face a crown court next month charged with sexual assault and voyeurism.
Cook, 21, of Perth Road, St Leonards, was at Brighton Magistrates Court yesterday and will now appear at Lewes Crown Court on August 3.
He is among four people charged over an attack on a woman in Brighton on July 17 last year.
Also charged are Cook’s former Brighton and Hove Albion team mates, George Barker, 20, of Highview Avenue North, Brighton; Lewis Dunk, 20, of Woodbourne Avenue, Brighton and Anton Rodgers, 19, of Highview Avenue North, Brighton.
