Over 14,000 requests in second sale of Olympic torch celebration tickets
MORE than 14,000 requests were made for the 2,500 extra tickets for Bournemouth’s Olympic Torch evening celebrations went they went on offer yesterday.
The extra free tickets were made available through an online ballot after the council decided it could accommodate more people for the event on the seafront next Friday night.
Those lucky enough to have been selected will be notified by e-mail on Monday and tickets must be collected from the BIC before 8.30pm on Wednesday.
