A CRUEL wind blowing in from the high seas didn’t stop hundreds of pirates and landlubbers enjoying Harry Paye Day on Saturday.
Old and young alike dug out their eye patches, cutlasses and hooks to hijack Poole Quay and celebrate the notorious 15th century pirate.
People packed onto the Quay to watch pirates and Vikings parade through the streets at midday, and the majestic The Lord Nelson tall ship was moored up and open for tours.
