Hundreds pay tribute to biker David Bartholomew

David Bartholomew, pictured, died in March in a collision on the A31 near Ferndown.

Hundreds of bikers left Avon Heath Country Park to head down the A31 to the Clay Pipe pub at Holton Heath.

It was organised as a celebration of his life and to raise money for Dorset Air Ambulance, Poole Critical Care Unit and Dorset Police Benevolent Fund.

David, 54, of Bere Regis, was known as Barty and was a popular figure in Dorset Motorcycle Club at Wareham.
