POLICE are hunting a gang who attacked two men outside a bar in Bournemouth town centre.
Violence flared outside Euro Change on Old Christchurch Road at around 11.30pm on Saturday June 9. Details of the unprovoked assault have just been released by Dorset police.
PC Darren Harris, of Bournemouth Licensing, said: “The victims; a 20-year-old and 27-year-old from London, were set upon by about ten men.
“They received facial cuts and scratches. Following the assault, the group of about ten men ran off along Old Christchurch Road towards Albert Road.
“I understand the area was busy with pedestrians and would appeal to anyone who witnessed the assault to contact me.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should phone 101, quoting incident number 9:552, or call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line 0800 555 111.
