Solar panels bid for Bournemouth town hall
BOURNEMOUTH council has applied for planning permission to install 138 solar panels on the roof of the Town Hall.
The council has also applied for listed building consent for the installation on the building’s extension. Civic planners will decide whether both applications are granted.
Project manager Richard Carpenter said the plan was “part of the council’s continuing commitment to reducing its carbon footprint”.
