THE East Dorset Coroner is appealing for help to trace the family of a woman who died in Bournemouth earlier this month.
Shirley Ponting, 76, died at her Holdenhurst Road home on May 2.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious.
Coroner’s officer Mike Humphries said: “I believe that Shirley used to have family in the local area.
“She was previously married and, from 1959 until 1972, was known as Shirley Spiller.
“I need to find Shirley’s next of kin so that I can finalise my enquiries on behalf of the Coroner.
“I’d be grateful if her family could contact me as soon as possible.”
