A MAN was being questioned by police last night after a robbery in Charminster.

As reported in the Daily Echo on Thursday, 50-year-old Jonathan Jones was walking his dog Chaz just yards from his Charminster Road flat when two men jumped out from bushes and beat him up.

They left him with a series of injuries and stole his debit card, watch, rings, house and car keys and mobile phone.

Yesterday, police said a 29-year-old man of no fixed abode had been arrested and was helping officers with enquiries.
