Life’s A Beach family fun event in Boscombe, featuring free taster sessions in rowing, beach tennis, street soccer, volley ball, slack lining, parkour and more.

Bournemouth's Mayor and the Thai Ambassador are opening the third Thai Food Festival at 11.50am, which will be held in Bournemouth Square and lasts all weekend

The Mick Samways Charity Darts Marathon is at the Sandford Royal British Legion at 11am on aid of Julia's House. Six sponsored teams will keep playing until they hit a target of 1000001 points, but the event will be also be open to anyone who would like join in and throw a few darts for a small donation. Sunday

Hoburne Holiday Parks' 100th birthday weekend celebrations at Hoburne Naish, New Milton. Sunday is The Hoburne Games, with a sack race, the egg and spoon race, tug-of-war and a dad's race.

At King’s Park Skate Park, Evangelistic Urban Artist Treadski is putting on a Graffiti Jam. He's wants to cover the "vulgar words and images" drawn on the skate park ramps by covering the entire skate park in bright beautiful graffiti. All ages and artists welcome.

Monday

At the West Cliff Zig Zag, a giant Flags on the Shore exhibition is being staged from 11am by 3rd year arts and management students at the Arts University College. They have worked with artists, primary schools and others to exhibit flags which ask: What inspires you?. More details at this link.

It's the Georgian Fayre in Blandford, with pirates, Vikings, the Wimborne Militia, Galactic Knights, dancing, crafts, a lurcher display, ferret racing, Gurkha dancing and falconry display.
